Alex Witkus

Alex is originally from Mashpee, Massachusetts. In High School he played multiple sports including baseball and indoor track. In 2011, Alex finished fourth in the State of Massachusetts in the 55 meter dash, running a 6.62 seconds FAT. He later went on the play Division I baseball for Fairfield University in Connecticut. During his time at Fairfield, Alex was a four-time member of the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, three-time member of the MAAC All-Academic Team, and the Team Captain in his senior year. In 2014, Alex ranked as high as eighth nationally in stolen bases per game in 2014. He graduated in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and May 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Accounting.

During the day, Alex is a Federal Consultant for Deloitte Consulting. However, his true passion is fitness. Since high school, Alex was keen on nutrition and exercise. He was first introduced to CrossFit in November 2016 and was immediately hooked. Alex loves the competitive and community aspects CrossFit brings. He became CrossFit Level 1 Certified in 2018 and looks forward to sharing his knowledge of fitness and nutrition with others. Alex strives to become a regionals athlete, and dreams of being an owner in the future. When Alex is not at the gym he enjoys fishing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
