This document provides instructions for posting a Workout of the Day (WOD) to the CrossFit Rosslyn website.

Step 1

Login to the CFR website with your username and password. You can get to the login page by either pressing ESC on your keyboard from any page on the site, or by navigating to https://login.squarespace.com 

Step 2

Navigate to the “Blog” section. From the main menu, click:

“Pages” => “Blog”

You may have to scroll down a bit on the “Pages” menu to find the “Blog” link.

Alternatively, this link will take you there directly.

Step 3

Add a new post. Click on the plus icon at the top of the Blog listing to create a new post. Every WOD is its own post.

Step 4

Add a title and content to the post.

Step 6

Add tags and the WOD category to the post. The Tags and Categories are at the bottom of the Create/Edit form.

NOTE: You must add the “WOD” category to the post in order for it to show up on the front page.

Step 7

Copy and paste the content of the WOD into the Excerpt Section under the Options Tab.

NOTE: You must add an excerpt to the post in order for it to show up on the front page.

Step 8

Publish or schedule the post.

If you’d like the post to show up immediately, click the “Save and Publish” button at the bottom right of the form.

If you’d like to schedule the post to publish at a later date. Click on “Draft” at the bottom right of the form. A list of options will appear. Click on “Scheduled.” Once the menu disappears the status will be changed to Scheduled. Directly underneath the word “Scheduled” will be the text “Publish…” Click on the underlined time and choose when you would like the post to publish.

Once complete, click Save.
